Challenge

Create a front-end user experience for a commodities price assessment platform that aims to give power and transparency back to traders and brokers when setting price benchmarks for renewables – something that doesn’t exist currently in the industry.

Solution

The platform was designed to track price change, provide several tools for users to understand the data and activity in a trading session and allow users to bid and accept offers. The system tailored content, functionality and language for multiple types of user. In addition, working with an existing back-end platform meant re-engineering it to be simple, user friendly and fit for purpose – in particular catering to the time constraints and limited screen space traders and brokers have during trading sessions.
