Profile

I am a freelance UX designer with a focus on digital experiences that are insight-led, effective and delightful to use.

I have created digital projects for over 20 years, recently working with a number of creative and digital agencies in London, including Spark44, The Bio Agency, Brand Union (now Superunion), DigitasLBi and Publicis Sapient.

My background is as a creative designer and design director, starting out at corporate comms agency SAS (now MSL), where the work focused on ideas-based, immaculately designed campaigns across print and digital. I then headed up the digital offer at branding agency BEAR, where my work complemented the creation and reinvigoration of a wide variety of brands.

Since then, I have explored various contract roles across a variety of sectors, from banking to property to automotive. And most recently, I’ve helped Nissan develop and enhance features on their global web platform, driving major initiatives and finding the balance between their global and regional needs.

My approach to user experience: stay objective, keep asking ‘why’, and roll with the human quirks and biases of your users.

Lover of typography, the Spurs, snowboarding and good spelling (not necessarily in that order).
